HAPPY BIRTHDAY,MIMI!!

It is September 13th, and my dear sweet mother's birthday. The kids blew up balloons let them fly all over the house and suprised Mimi with loud music and a dance party. I love many things about my family especially our spontaneous dance parties!! We celebrated Mimi on her special day by honoring her with "The Chicken Dance"! Alora and I baked her a cake covered in flowers, while the boys were off camping. We love to make our own cakes. Mom was so exctied! My mother is truly one of the most giving people that I know. She has selflessly taken care of my brother and I on so many occasions, offering gentle nurturing, motherly advice and encouragement. She is a loving grandmother who loves to spoil her children and grandchildren with all of the things she didn't have growing up. She sacrifices for her family and is quick to defend her young in the same way that a mother bird protects her nest. I was extremely fortunate to grow up in a loving family where we were and still are very close. My mom and dad are my heroes and I thank God for their example of strength, love, self-sacrifice, giving, hospitality, encouragement, boldness, hard work and integrity. Mom, thank you for everything, have a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I love you!
