On September 2nd, Alora launched into another phase of life--Big Girl Biker Rider! After two years of cycling with Dora the Explorer, she has conquered Pinky--The Cycling Beast. With some adjustments to the seat and tilting of the handlebars our baby can finally reach the pedals and hold on with her hands. Mimi and Bebe gave her this bike on her birthday last year. We were determined to get her on it by her next birthday. With one month to go, she has done it. We know Mimi and Bebe are so proud. So now the question is: What will Alora conquer next?" She is an avid tree climbing princess, bike cycling sequin-wearer, and handstanding marvel. She feels the need for speed and dared to ride roller coasters at Disney World with her hands up while her brother covered his eyes. She even jumps off diving boards (with a life jacket on). What will this dare devil do next? When asked, Alora shares that she will pursue a career in singing and dancing. "There will be a stage and lots of people will have to watch me and Caroline (her best friend)." "We will sing together,"declares Alora. (I hope her parents don't mind) Way to go Alora---We are so proud of you!!

I hope Alora won't mind biking with a non-pink bike rider. Trust me, I would love to have a pink bike. It just didn't work out that way. :o) I'm excited for her. That's a big step in life. Way to go, Alora!
