She is Woman, Hear Her Roar! This Weekend Part2

While I was at the conference this weekend, my mom texted me that Alora had a loose tooth. This is her first one and she has been anxiously anticipating the day that she would get a loose tooth like her brother. Because we had such a packed weekend, Joey and I drove into town from the conference and met the kids and my parents at Andrew's boy scout banquet. I felt it as soon as I saw her and it was just beginning to jiggle ever so slightly. How cute, her first tooth! I remember the day she actually got her first baby tooth! My how the time flies! The banquet this year was carnival style games created by the cub scouts and so the kids took off to join in upon arrival. Towards the end of our time at the banquet, Alora came running to me with a mouth full of blood and a hand full of treasure--the tooth! She had been so excited that she jiggled that thing until she could pry it from her mouth. Wowsers! and Ouch! She promises it didn't hurt but the amount of blood coming forth from that hole said otherwise. She just wanted it out that bad! It makes me cringe to think about it. We explained that next time she needed to just leave it alone until it got a little looser. It was worth every bit of the $5.00 I gave her. She caught the Tooth Fairy way off guard and that is all she was packing, but I think her tooth pulling efforts were worth every penny. Thats my girl! She is woman, hear her roar!
