We are learning about limericks.

Limericks are 5 lined poems that have a rhyming pattern of AABBA and are funny and nonsense.

Bill's Hill

There once was a boy on a hill

He was searching for his best friend, Bill.

He took a quick shower

and used only one hour

And found out Bill moved to Brazil.

The Man

There once was a man who was weird

His name was Joey, the Feared.

When he walked in the room

People would zoom

because of his thick, wooly beard.

(okay, i helped her a little with this one. hee-hee)
