Mindstorm Mania

Andrew has been busy with his Mindstorm for many weeks. He has made many different things. This past week he built a sled and dog team!

He is extremely creative and loves robotics. I actually checked into a robotics camp but he is one year too young. However, I spoke with one of the teachers on the phone and I can register him for next summer in December. We are very excited about this. The camp would really give him some computer programming and robotics training and possibly open the door to other opportunities. This is definitely Andrew's niche and so we will give him the opportunity to sharpen his skills.

Congratulations, Andrew!!! We received his S.A.T's in the mail and he did fantastic! If you will remember, I blogged last month that we were concerned about how he did and I was even feeling bad for having made him take them. Well, he blew them out of the water and did a great job. He was encouraged--I was encouraged. We were encouraged about our homeschooling endeavors. Compared to his last two years on the tests, this was, by FAR, his best scores! Yeah for Andrew! Yeah for Homeschooling!
