For my birthday last year, Andrew, Alora and Joey made me a little area with stump seats and a pit to roast marshmallows and some outdoor tile to add that extra touch. It is so nice and lately we have really had fun using it! We wrap up in our jackets and head out for some pit cooking hosted by--Chef Joey!
Saturday night, after the cleaning of the garage and pressure washing, we had a pit grill out! Joey is a great griller on the charcoal grill and on the open campfire.
These babies were delicious! Cookie couldn't help herself and after the grill was removed and it cooled against the wall, she licked it clean! Even Cookie recognizes good grillin'!
We had a full spread: cheeseburgers, with all the fixins' and smores!
This Saturday was fabulous because we spent it working together, playing together, and just hanging out together! Joey, thank you so much for always going the extra mile to make special family memories with us.
