My Brother's Wedding Part Three: Girls Getting All Gussied up!

We were up bright and early Saturday morning to get ready for the Big Day. It started with appointments for hair and makeup in Birmingham.

It was fun because most of the bridesmaids, both mothers, bride and junior bride's maid were all there getting fru fru ed up! The makeup artist and hair designers were awesome making us all look glamorous!

I was sooo excited to have Amanda with us for the whole week and she was up early with us helping me get Lulu ready and helping me keep everything together, including Mom's hair. : )

En Vogue was the place to be!

Nicole was beautiful!

Alora was such a big girl being the junior brides maid and all. Her hair was spectacular. She loves her Aunt Nicole and wanted to do a good job as her bridesmaid.
My grown up girl!

After many hours we were finished and ready to get our duds on! Off to the church we went-1 hour a way. Can you believe the hair and makeup held all day--like 7 HOURS! I was quite impressed.
Into our dresses we went. Alora was absolutely beautiful in her dress and jewelry. We had snacks delivered to the brides party room complete with sandwiches and cokes. Not long before we began the ceremony, Alora cleaned her hands on her dress and then spilled sweet tea all over it! It was hardly noticeable during the service but when I got that dress off her my heart sank. After the wedding I took it to my cleaners in hopes that maybe they could do something. I would like to give a shout out to CALVIN"S CLEANERS and say "WAHOO" the dress is as good as new! WOW!
The blushing bride! Our dresses were gorgeous.
It is so great to just be fancy every once in a while.
(Especially for a home school mom)
Everything was gorgeous and so much fun.
We were all gussied up and ready for action.
It was WEDDING TIME!
