A Week Full of Amanda!

After the wedding was over it was back home but not alone--We had Amanda with us for a whole week!!! It had been a while since she had been able to come for a visit and so the kids were excited, I was excited, and Joey was excited. Well, as usual we had the whole week for spending time together and did we take any pictures? No! I got this one pic and that was about it.

It was a great week. We took the kids hiking one day. We did some shopping at Target one day and met Joey for dinner at some Cracker Barrel ( a request of Amanda's). She needed some country cooking. We hung out with David and Nicole when they got back from there honeymoon. Went out for Thai food at our favorite local Thai restaurant. We made Joey grill out for us on the fire pit on a night when it was seriously frigid. (It was so fab and delicious) . We went running one day. I am trying to motivate her to run a marathon with me. The rest of the time I taught the kids and we just chilled out. It was great to visit, play, plan and dream together. The worst part about it was taking her back to the airport and sending her back to NYC but we are already making plans for the summer. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful friend. I love you, Amanda and I am so thankful for all of our precious time together.
