With two parents in glasses, we know the chances of Andrew and Alora also having glasses is high. We went to the doctor for our regular check ups and, bless his heart, he could not read past the top line! Uh oh...The nurse immediately said, "I will get you the number to a good eye doctor when we are finished." The next day we were at the eye doctor discovering that Andrew is nearsighted. He was AMAZED as he sat in the office looking through the machine after the doctor had found the lens' that would work. He kept moving his head from no lens' to lens' saying, WOW! He could not believe the difference!

We picked them up, a week later, and on the way home he just couldn't stop staring out the window. I cannot tell you how many times, when we are in the car, that I tell him to put the game down and look out the window and see what is around you. No wonder he never wanted to before-He couldn't see the world! He looked out for the first time seeing everything in "such detail" (quote by Andrew).
WOW, is right, and he repeated it over and over all the way home.
Not only can he see better, but he looks quite handsome in his new, Harley Davidson frames. : )

Poor Andrew, I remember the summer after fourth grade getting glasses. In the words of Brian Regan (comedian, please tell me you know who that is), "Oh man, I could have been seein' things!"
