Do you ever feel like you just have to much going on and so purpose just gets lost in the chaos? That is how I feel about my blog. I am all over the place (if you really know me, that is how I am with everything). Well, I have been doing some thinking for quite some time and I feel like I just needed to restructure some things here because I always have a lot to say and it becomes really random when I just throw up something about this subject here and this subject there. Blah Blah Blah.
Anyway I have come up with a plan! : )
Meditation Monday- This will be the day I am going to share what God is teaching me or devotional thoughts for the week. This day on my blog will be specifically to challenge myself and you to further our walk with Christ.
Tangible Tuesday- This will be the day that I want to report on homeschooling and offer up ideas, books we are reading, field trip ideas etc. This is a really big reason I even began blogging in the first place and I do not want to forsake the accountability that I recieve in having to report on homeschooling each week. Plus grandparents love to see what we are doing here at Thompson Academy.
Worldview Wednesday- This will be the day that I want to spend looking at the world around and seeing how we can make a difference. There is so much that can be done and so much going on all over the world. I have friends who are serving the Lord all over the place and I may just take the time to report on what God is doing in their lives. (with their permission, of course) This will be a hodge podge of looking outward.
Tasty Thursday- This is recipe day. I love to cook and I have a lot of friends who love to cook and we are always exchanging great recipes. This is also going to be a time to tell about great money saving opportunities (I haven't even had the time to blog about my last two months of couponing adventures! so fun!) I also reserve this day to talk fitness. I have gained five pounds over the last five weeks of no running and I am going to be on fitness quest. Tasty Thurday is really Health Awareness Thursday but Tasty starts with a T and I needed consistent cutesy!
Family Friday- This is the day to talk about what is going on with our family or show a pic or two. The usual stuff. Family Friday may bleed over into Saturday. But I am probably not going to have much on the weekend unless I am just behind but I aim to schedule all of these blogs for the appropriate days no matter when I write them. Also there may be more than one post on Fridays so scroll down and check.
I feel better already. I can't promise I will always have something up that is new but I will do my best to keep it rolling. It just feels better to have a set of guidelines to help me along. I reserve the right to be extremely flexible with this. Rigidity never served me well. Happy Reading.
Also, I need change and I get really tired of looking at the same old thing. So, if my background changes from time to time, know that its just me getting my creativity out. It's like when I reaarrange the furniture in Alora's room every month, only I haven' been able to since I hurt my neck. Blog backgrounds are like rearranging furniture only less stress on the neck. : )

I like this plan - I've never actually made it happen for me even though I intended to - do you think I should change my blog or is it all rather random like yours? I need some honest opinions here.
