Back in Business- Maine: Day One

I have had some very awesome opportunities this year to travel. My mom had another conference to attend and guess who got to be her "travel buddy"? This time-PORTLAND, MAINE!
We arrived late at night and went straight to our hotel, my head the pillow at 3! But the next day I was ready to go. While Mom was in her first day of conference I took it easy in the hotel room and waited for her to finish. We then headed out to our first fabulous spot in South Portland for dinner. The Lobster Shack was up on a cliff with picnic tables right along the waters edge! Also, two regal lighthouses in view from our table!

What would I eat first night in MAINE?-lobster, of course. My first one! He was a cutie but on the inside, not so pretty. Turns out that when the liver of a lobster is boiled it turns green-no thank you! I ate his claws and tail and upper torso but no liver for me!

This is a view of the coast from where we ate! Get outta town- Gorgeous! If you look closely you will see the sea gulls all lined up on the rocks. Looks pretty enough to be a painting.

My mom shot this picture! Dazzling view of a lighthouse, one in Two Lights National Park.
Amazing pictures- Amazing place! And its only the first day!
