Before Disney World, Aunt Nicole was looking ripe with child. Sage was due at the end of November so we knew that our trip out of town was gonna be calling it close. Well, we arrived home and Thanksgiving came and went with out any stirring of Sage. November came with out any stirring for that matter. On December 1st Nicole was admitted for an induction to see if they could get him stirring.
In anticipation of Sage's arrival Alora took up a craft--crochet! She worked so hard on this baby blanket to give to Aunt Nicole and Unc. Every night, even when we were in Disney World, she worked on her blanket and finished it by Thanksgiving to give to Sage.
Thank you to Momo, Mimi and Ms Holly for helping her get it together and finish the project. Alora did a fabulous job and Aunt Nicole and Unc love it!
Back at the hospital it was a long day and night for Nicole's family...
and Davids.
The kids were determined to be there when Sage burst into the world.
We were tired but it was well worth the wait.
And nobody was as tired as Nicole was. 22 hours came and went, and Nicole entered a whole new level of Mother Birthing Heroes in my book of All Star Moms. She was UH-MaZing! What a trooper. I cannot even tell you where all that strength came from after such a long night, undeniably a "GOD" thing. I had the greatest privilege of being in the delivery room to video the birth and I gotta tell you that it was the most spectacularly moving event. Nothing like it!
Come forth Little Sage!
