Last weekend, Joey and I had the awesome privilege of leading a marriage retreat for twenty-two couples from Eden Westside Baptist Church. What a blessing! Just to be able to share with these couples was so great.
We also were able to hang out with long time friends, Kevin and Wendy! It was such an encouragement to just sit and talk with them and laugh about old and new times. We are truly blessed to have such great friends!
Also, to spend time with Misty and Cory! God has blessed Misty and I with a wonderful friendship since junior high when we met. But the sweetest year ever was the last one because it has been centered on Christ! To watch her grow in the knowledge and understanding of the gospel is beyond words and to share it with her is the biggest blessing ever! Every time she gets excited about Jesus I am fighting back the tears--Isn't God good?!? God has poured out His mercy and goodness on our friendship and I am so looking forward to the years ahead.
Shocco Springs was beautiful and even though our time was short there--it was very memorable. Thank you Eden Westside Young Couples Group for blessing us this past weekend as we shared the gospel with you. May each of you strive to have a "Picturesque Marriage"
