Guess Where Amanda is Today?

I got an email from Amanda today and you guessed it, she's with Jacksie! Man, I cannot tell you what this picture did to me when I saw it. I love that man! I have read so much C.S. Lewis, including a biography and autobiography, that I feel a bit like I knew him. I take it back, I feel alot like I knew him. C.S Lewis inspired me beyond Narnia, although I loved every book and sat motionless when I was done with The Last Battle. I didn't quite know what to do with myself when I finished Narnia. But it was Surprised by Joy and Mere Christianity that really drew me in and made me love Clive Staples Lewis. So as I head out the door to gymnastics my thoughts are a little farther away remembering the literary contributions of a genius. He was a regular sort of guy who struggled with Christ, and impacted the whole wide world, including little ol' me. I wonder if he realized what an impact he would make for the cause of Christ and how long and far his pen would reach. Thanks Amanda, for sharing.
