When I went home for my dad's big birthday extravaganza at Riverdance, my mom accidentally packed my camera bag as she headed to be with my grandmother who had been taken to the emergency room in South Carolina. In that bag was my digital camera and video camera and all of my pictures. Well, I got them back this past week and so I wanted to show you our latest cakes. This first one is the cake I made for my dad. Can you tell its a tool bag loaded with tools? The kids picked the design. We thought it was quite appropriate since my "tool man" dad is in the middle of a major home project right now. The cool thing was that I finally figured out how to make good tasting fondant thanks to my friend, Leigh! It was actually alot easier to wrap the fondant on this round cake than I thought it
would be.
This past week the kids and I made Joey his favorite kind of cake, german chocolate! It was delicious. Of course, with Valentine's Day on the horizon we had to make it in the shape of a heart. Good job, Andrew and Alora!
