This past Saturday, the Thompson family had reason to celebrate. We celebrated family! Joey's brother, David, recently became the adopted father of Abby and David and Tammy recently gained custody of Alyssa! What has been in the works for a loooonnnnngggg time is now official.

There have been so many changes occurring and we are just celebrating God's goodness in their lives. They both had birthdays this fall, Abby's adoption, Alyssa's change of address, David became a youth pastor of a church and Tammy got a promotion. WOW!!! Way to go-Fam!
At the celebration there were gifts to open for each of the girls including a bible, journal and all kinds of other goodies.
God has been so faithful and it is just amazing to see the ways that He has been working and continues to work in the lives of the girls and in the lives of all of us.
I just love my sister-in- law and am so thankful for her!
We ate cake and enjoyed visiting with family. Many blessings and much love to David, Tammy, Abby and Alyssa!
