Day 5 and we were off to a good start! Alora worked on her daily chore, vacuuming and was so proud that she figured out how to wind the cord all by herself. It's really all about the little victories--you know what I'm sayin'?
My bathroom was first on the list and, as you can see, I enlisted a helper. Actually, it was his day for the bathrooms so he cleaned the mirror and the counter tops while I took care of the bathtub.
One bathroom down... and one to go. Notice the beautiful tile in this bathroom. My dad put this in about two months ago and we are really enjoying it.
This is a reminder that we have posted in the bathroom to help us remember all that the kiddos need to do why in the bathroom in the am and the pm. Visual reminders help us out a bunch.
Alora loves to build forts and her bed is just perfect for fort building, however, every once in a while we have to restore order and give her a fresh palette. As we were getting started in her room, like a flash it hit me (this is something that happens every once in a while), I decided to rearrange! She is in need of space since she got her keyboard for Christmas. Walking space has become tight so I moved her bed.
Much better! We cleaned out the closet, drawers, shelves and desk. Washed her sheets, dusted the furniture and put away the toys and laundry. Alora loves tiny things and she also loves to store them in tiny places all over her room. She really has quite a "tiny item" collection!
Clean workspace for my little artist and office worker.
Shelves are neat and tidy again.
