First Family Camp of the Fall

The night before the Krispy Kreme Challenge our family went camping for the first time this fall. I can't believe that it is November and this the first one but we have had an out of control schedule this season. Thankfully we were able to squeeze one in. While Joey was at work, I proceeded to make the camping decisions and pack the bags. The family was at my mercy! I did forget a few things but nothing we couldn't live without.

It was nippy and so we packed much winter wear and even a heater to place in our tent. We found out quickly that without the heater we would not have made it through the night.

Bratwurst and potatoes! Mmmm!

We had a blast but as I laid down that night,I was running over in my head a list of all the camping supplies we are going to purchase before the next trip. Namely, mats on which to sleep and a fourth sleeping bag that can tolerate the cold a little better. We love the outdoors and cherish our camping memories.
