We have been reading a different Christmas book each day since December 1st. We love Christmas stories from The Crippled Lamb to Olive the Other Reindeer. Today was The Legend of the Candy Cane. We hung candy canes on the Christmas tree and ate a couple too. We love this story.
Last year off the cooking channel, I copied the recipe for candy cane cookies and that is what we baked today.
Look at these HUGE cookies! The kids shouted and sang that I was the best cookie maker ever--just because they were HUGE! Funny!
They were tasty, sugary goodness with a hint of peppermint. Very delicious!
