Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

On Friday, I had to rush back to Birmingham from Atlanta so that I wouldn't get stuck in the snow that was coming for B'ham at Atlanta. It began snowing just as I was getting close to my destination. Packet pick up for the 5K and the Half was at the BJCC so I met Mimi, Bibi and the kiddos there.

They loved the new hats I brought them : )

While at my dad's hanger a spontaneous snowball fight that pitted grandparents vs. grandkids broke out.


Those silly grandparents! Mimi and Bibi were the declared winners!

We had lunch at Jason's Deli and then had our free ice cream in the snow! It was really coming down fast.

By the time we arrived back in Pell City, Joey was back from training in Atlanta.
Let the snowball action begin!

Bibi and Andrew tried to get the sled going but it was just not happening.

We weren't the only ones to love the snow. Cookie LOVES it! She first tried to eat as much as she could then she just jumped like an antelope going nuts.

Everybody had a great time playing in the snow.
