Basketball season is coming to a close. Andrew and Alora both played this year. Andrew has decided that this will be his last year while Alora is just getting cranked up.
Andrew's team has struggled this year but he has stuck with it, learning endurance and patience.
Alora's season has been an interesting one, in that, there were only two teams, so each week, they play the same team. This has really given her some confidence and allowed her to work on her defensive and offensive skills without game anxiety. She is very Scrappy Do.
Alora has definitely found a sport she loves. She may be the smallest one out there but she plays BIG!
Their last games will be this coming weekend and then we are gonna chill out a bit for spring, not taking on any sports, (Alora is already being chased into soccer) because we just want to play when the weather gets nice.
It has been an enjoyable basketball season and we have really benefited by the Upward basketball program.
