A Wedding Shower and My Newest Cake

It was a beautiful shower! Debra and Evan, a sweet, sweet couple are getting married and it is party time. What a very pretty table, Ladies!

Beverly and I just had to have our picture made since we were being Twinkies and all.

No party is complete without a party cake, sooooo, here it is! Chocolate on chocolate on chocolate and that is just the way we like it. I have a new favorite toy that I am so excited about- the perfect-flower-fondant-cutter! Woo hoo, how this little gem made my life easier!

Next up, I made vanilla cupcakes with mint green icing that even tasted like mint. Toppings of chocolate sprinkles and cocoa powder finished them off. I had to buy this tray, which I thought would come in handy, to put them on display. You should have seen me trying to put it together. Enough said about that. : )

I love my flower cutter! It might be the first time I have ever really felt good about a cake! Would you believe that after two days of work, I knocked it over in the car driving down the road to delivery! Cake nightmare come true. I almost cried. It broke half the flowers on the back but the cake itself was unharmed. Whew! I moved some things around as best I could and nobody could tell. Saved!
We had a great time.Congratulations, Debra and Evan!
