The Baby Shower!

Nicole had a fabulous baby shower!

She received a ton of big stuff like the glider, travel system, soothing chair, bathtub, and tons of homemade blankets and clothes.

I am keeping her pretty stocked with diapers, a trick I learned from my friend Traci that I must pass a long to you. She spent her entire 9 months of pregnancy watching the CVS and Publix deals and collected TONS of diapers all 9 months. When shower time came around, no one got her diapers because we knew she was prepared in that dept, so we got her all the other cool stuff. I have been watching deals and grabbing diapers for my three girls (Nicole, Ashley and Eryne) when I can. You can really get them cheap if you will be patient and keep your eyes open. Because in crunch time, Mom's can spend a fortune on those litte diapers. If only I had coupon sense when I was pregnant.

Look at that fruit! The ladies at Mt. Vernon really know how to throw a party. I watched these sweet ladies at the wedding and I gotta tell you, they know their stuff!

Okay, shower pause to bring you this startling news- SHE is about to be 8!!! Look how tall and young girlie she is looking! AHHHH!

She ate the fondant monkey right off the cake- her fave!

I can't get over it!

Anybody think she would be a great candidate for Alice in Wonderland?

Okay, back to the shower, Look at the fabulous couple! Nicole looked great and I am loving the basketball! I got to feel Sage kick some while they were at our house the other night and I cannot tell you how excited I am to get this baby here. I love you, David and Nicole, and I cannot wait to be an Aunt to your precious little one.
