Have I mentioned that we love science? It seems to be the only subject I blog about these days. If you are a homeschool family and you don't know about Currclick then let me introduce you. Currclick is a website that has hundreds of lapbooks, mini units, etc. It has been a great resource. The cool thing about Currclick is that, throughout the year, they have specials, lapbooks for FREE and for $1.00. It is awesome. The rest of the year when they are not running FREEBIES (but it seems like they always have freebies) they are very reasonably priced. To go with our Apologia Science Oceanography book, we bought the lapbook.
We have been creating mini-books since chapter 1 and the display is coming together nicely.
It is a great review at the end of a chapter and they get to add their artistic flair. I just downloaded a new lapbook and I can't wait until we get to our history unit on medieval times to use it--DUCT TAPE WARFARE! moo hoo hwa hwa hwa! We are going to get the whole family in on that one! Yeah for CURRCLICK.
