As soon as I got back from New York City it was time to carve the pumpkins.
Every year while we carve, we also share the gospel! The pumpkin gospel, if you will. Jesus used objects to teach lessons and we use the pumpkin. We had a very good discussion and each of the kids chose their design. Alora chose to carve the sweet name of Jesus on hers and Andrew chose to make tiny stars all over his pumpkin and a moon hung in the sky. Very creative!
