Day Two-Museum Day!

Day Two was museum day and we started the day with The Museum of Natural History. I texted pictures to the kids the entire time I was there. When I sent this pic to Alora the first thing she said was, "She's at Night at the Museum!"
Rexie greeted us as soon as we entered the building.

Clam!

The oceanography section was awesome!

I took lots of pics for the kids since we have been studying oceanography, most recently seals.

Alora asked me if they were real and I had to explain to her that they were but that explorers delivered these specimen from all over the world. She was not impressed. In fact, I think she might be angry at every explorer and every taxidermist that ever lived.

Dexter!

Dum Dum, Give me gum gum!

I cannot even begin to explain to you the hugeness of this museum. We spent a couple of hours there but we could have spent days! So many exhibits from all over the world but one of my favorite ones was the dinosaurs.

I don't know about you, but I am glad these guys didn't make it in the world!

The museum was amazing and extremely cheap. Of course, I had to make this the souvenir stop, getting the kiddos shirts from the three story shop inside the museum. It was awesome. Next up--Central Park!
