Right after the first of the year, Amanda was going to be coming for a visit but due to crazy amounts of snow, her trip got changed, and changed and changed again, until finally I drove to Nashville to pick her up rather than meeting in her first scheduled city, Birmingham. She came a few days early to be with us and we had a blast enjoying some fresh new warmer weather.
It is always good to have Amanda with us and we knew that after her countless hours staring at tall buildings she needed some outdoors-- so we went to the park.
Ahhh... they grow up quick don't they?
It was a gorgeous day to be outside and we walked up and down the trail through the woods.
The kids took the scooters and we grabbed Cookie for a fabulous afternoon out.
Its hard to believe, but just a few days before this, the track looked like...

We had been desperate to get outside and so the kids and I enjoyed a snowy day at the park. While I ran they scoooted. Cookie loves it!
But no snow today--just warm family goodness.
