DEAL!!!

So I shared a deal I got last week and I thought today I will share a deal I got this week so maybe you too can get the deal!  Publix has coupons that are only for Publix.  How do you know which are which?  In the bottom corner of the coupon are the letters L.U and then a number, this means Publix.  Manufacture coupons dont have the LU, and most of the time they just say "manufacturer coupon"- but not always.  At Publix you can match a coupon from Publix with a manufacturer coupon and get double the savings.  This week it was triple the savings.  Hillshire Farm lunchmeat was on sale-buy 1 for $2.00.  Publix had a coupon for $1.00 of 2 and at http://www.southernsavers.com/ there was a link to download a coupon from Hillshire Farm that printed two coupons for $1.00 off each.  Combine them and presto--Lunchmeat for... Lets do the math.

2 Lunchmeat packs for $4.00- Publix coupon for $1.00 off makes it 2 Lunchmeats for $3.00 then apply the downloaded Hillshire Farm coupon - $1.00 and $1.00 and that makes 2 Lunchmeats for $1.00.
That makes .50 a piece.
I also had another coupon for .55 off one pack of lunchmeat, when I combined it with one more Publix coupon for 1.00 off  then I got that one for--.45
4 packs of lunchmeat for $1.45--Woo hoo!  And we really needed lunchmeat! Happy Coupon Hunting!

Another way to tell if a coupon is from the manufacturer is to look for the number bar on the coupon and it usually begins with a 5. You're doing great!
