January 28th is Momo's B'day and February 1st is Dad's B'day, so this past weekend was "Birthday Celebration" Weekend. We had a great time celebrating the birthdays with Mom's seriously awesome "down home" cooking. I made the cake, which was pretty girly for my dad, but I was just tired of doing circles, and rectangles- so I made a heart.
The theme this year--"Happy Hearts". : )
We enjoyed a rare 70 degree day together and headed to the park where we walked, ran, scooted on the scooters and enjoyed watching Sage sleep through the entire event. The rest of our time at the lake was just chillin'. There was endless hours of Playstation-PACMAN (the cause of the very nice blister on my index finger--I am intense about my Pacman), where my sister-in-law, Nicole, holds the record coming in at a whoppin' 1.6 million points!!! Joey rode the bike for the first time in forever and had a blast doing it.
We just spent time enjoying each other.
