Easter- The Greatest Celebration of All

As believers, we have so much to celebrate on Easter and we had a jam-packed-fun-filled celebration celebrating the Risen Savior!
On Saturday, the kiddos got Easter baskets of fun goodness.
Let the fun begin.  After opening the baskets we were off to strawberry pickin' with new friends, the Fitts- see previous post.
Saturday afternoon we were coloring dazzling eggs getting them all ready for our paint party with Unc and Nicole!
We love to color the eggs!
Look at those creative juices flowing!
We spent Thursday designing a very special Easter Garden and then enjoyed a fantabulous and worshipful Passover Meal with friends Jason, Traci and Anily.  Alora was in charge of the plants and Andrew designed the rocky path and tomb--it was great!
Our garden was complete with tomb in anticipation of the Emptiness it would experience on Sunday.  Friday night we lit it with tea lights and shared scripture as a family in remembrance of what Christ did for us. It was meaningful and beautiful and the kids really enjoyed it.
All month we read scripture and decorated an Easter Tree.  It was such a great time to focus on
Christ. Our family devotionals were extra special this month.
On Easter Sunday we rolled the stone away in our garden and celebrated!!!  Church was AWESOME! Unc and Nicole came over and the painting began.
Even Joey got in on the action
Sage is learning the fine art of egg decorating
 Lovin' that baby boy!
I bet you can't guess which egg Unc decorated? Hmmm...
 Hard at work!
I don't know what to say...He is good at what he does and what he does is...good!
Precious little one- I could squeeze him forever!
He is not here---HE HAS RISEN! What a glorious, glorious week!
