Andrew lost his 6th tooth yesterday and, at our house, when you lose a tooth, the Tooth Fairy comes. When Andrew lost his very first tooth, Amanda and I came up with a scheme to disguise me as the Tooth Fairy, take a picture and tell Andrew that we had snapped her picture in the middle of the night. Andrew got a big kick out of the picture, and we had so much fun doing this that each year a different Tooth Fairy has come for a visit. I am happy to say that Joey has also been the Tooth Fairy but I have been told that if the pictures appear on this blog, I am dead meat! I have decided to honor him because he was such a good sport in playing the Tooth Fairy. He was awfully cute in a tutu with matching wand. So this year, this is the Tooth Fairy who came to see Andrew. Andrew received $7.00 but not because the Tooth Fairy is putting a high price on teeth these days but because the Tooth Fairy left him $2.00 and his sister, the apprentice to the Tooth Fairy, left him $5.00. Alora was very secretive and placed $5.00 in a ziploc bag that simply said "from Alora". Is that not precious! She is such a giver and she gave her $5.00 to her brother! That's our Tooth Fairy tradition, and it's alot of fun. Andrew laughed so hard this morning upon seeing the picture of the Tooth Fairy, and I will tell you like I told him: "Beware! You never know when a canine might come for your canines!"
