In our hometown we have a drive in movie theater and it is so fun to go there in the summer.
Last night, we went to go see Night at the Museum Two. Hilarious!
Looking at this picture as I loaded it in to the blog, there are a few points I would like to make.
We packed up the lawn chairs and threw them in the truck along with popcorn, drinks and toll house pan cookies, mmm! When I told the kids we were going to the drive in, Alora immediately asked if she could bring her pillow and blanket. She has been on so many spontaneous adventures at night with her mom and dad and it's just becoming a tradition.
Pillow+Blanket in the Car= Spontaneous Late Night Adventure! I love it!
We invited some friends! It was the best temperature and weather, not too hot and not to cold.
Look at these cuties!

Ahhh, young love! Notice the ring on that hand. Congratulations, Evan and Deborah! It was fun to hang out with these guys while they are home for summer break.
Summer Fun!

- I took Alora and Andrew swimming at a friend's house earlier in the day and put Coppertone 50 on Alora's face. As you can see--it didn't work! This is the second time it has happened to her after putting the same suntan lotion on her. I mean, 50! Come on! Coppertone 50 gets two thumbs down!
- My man has been bicycling and he is looking good! He has lost weight in his gut and his pants are getting too big. His belt is on its last hole. He just looks different to me in this pic--young and spry!
- Has anybody noticed how big my kids are getting? Andrew is about to be 10 and he looks it!
- Lastly, I do not have beamy eyes with the glasses! Thank the Lord for glare guard! I used to hate pics of me with a passion because I always had beamy eyes. Yay. for a great family pic!
