The 5K was over. Joey, the kids and the dog headed to Meemaw and Poppie's house for a visit and then home. David and Nicole came to town and so we headed to the Farm for some mud riding. We were thinking it would be a bit warmer than it was so we jumped on the suped up golf cart and headed for the woods. My dad had some farm work to do so David was in the driver's seat. It had rained and so there was mud everywhere. Nicole rode shotgun and Mom and I were in the back holding on for dear life.
Our guides! Yikes! Every time we came upon a large mud hole or other obstacle, Nicole simply called out, "Uh Oh". This was our cue to raise our legs as much as we possibly could. Mom and I still ended up getting muddy.
Here we are snuggled up on the back of the cart having a blast.
The farm is awesome and I can't wait until the spring when we can really enjoy it!
There is much to be explored. The creek, the woods, the fully stocked ponds, clubhouse, trails galore, beaver dams and bridges. We love it!
Here we go! Tearing up the trail!
It was short lived though because it was just too cold. We are really over this winter stuff and trying to push our spring activities.
That night my mom made us a fabulous PASTA dinner to get me all carbed up for my big race. I had to take pics of it because it was beautiful and such a fabulous idea that I wanted to remember it for future dinner ideas. She made a big pile of Greek spaghetti. and then surrounded it with whatever pasta toppings you wanted.

Wow - I think that's a really cool way to do pasta. I hope I can remember it and do it myself.
