Dr Seuss Week

Ahhh. Is it really that time again? I remember last year's breakfast of green eggs and purple pancakes, seems like just yesterday. Well this time, the kids woke up to a full Spring spread complete with green eggs, rainbow pancakes, blue milk, Spring Bingo and an assortment of Dr. Seuss books. Alora wore my Cat in the Hat hat and Andrew came sporting the newest hat fashions from Fliberloo-a Garfield slipper hat!

When I taught kindergarten I bought tons of Dr. Seuss books. Alora has loved reading them this week. The big difference between this year and last year is that last year, I was reading them to her, and this year, she is reading them to me!

Andrew loved his breakfast!

I do not like them Sam I am, I do not like green EGGS! but I like the pancakes!

Wait....maybe I do. After much protesting, Alora tried a bite and then decided she likes the green eggs-ok!
Andrew really gets into this and just had to have his milk blue too!

Next up-Spring Bingo and storytime. Because it was Wednesday, we read Wacky Wednesday! Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
Thanks for giving us a reason to be wacky!
