Andrew's Birthday Extravaganza Begins

Andrew would be turning 11 on August 2nd but we began the birthday celebration on Sunday the 1st with a trip to the U.S Space and Rocket Center.

We were soooo excited about seeing the Star Wars exhibit! Andrew is the biggest Star Wars fan ever and he has been waiting to see the exhibit in Huntsville.


There were costumes, robots, props, and models, hands on computer simulations, and building projects. We had a blast.

After we walked through the exhibit for about 2 hours we headed to the Special Effects Imax, which we thought was fabulous!

Andrew forgot his light saber and was therefore unarmed.

Alora was hangin' with C3P0.

After the Imax we toured the Spacey part of the Space Center taking in all of the rich Space history. What a great day and what a great way to kick off Andrew's birthday!
