Last weekend our family had the opportunity to take the first camping trip of the year. We love to camp and Joey had a long weekend off so we packed the car and headed to Lake Guntersville for a two night camp.

Camping is a great time to enjoy the nature, kick back and relax, hike, ride bikes and eat smores!

What a beautiful place we discovered Lake Guntersville to be!

Random Ostrich stood next to the road inside the state park most of the day. At one point we drove by and the ostrich was gone but he was replaced with 5 goats. Strange!

In our hiking we discovered a cave. We never found the back of it.

Let the investigation begin.

Beautiful hiking trails.

The lake was quite spectacular as well.
There were deer every where inside the state park and many in our campgronds. The deer were standing outside trailers and tents. It was awesome! Each night we went hunting for deer, but not to shoot, of course, just to observe.

Geese!

Everywhere, I tell you! Beautiful Creatures!

Enjoying the sunset at the water's edge.

Look at that heron perched atop the pier. Fabulous!

I am really soaking up these gorgeous sunsets that God has blessed me with.
Great family camping, Great family fun!
