December Happenings

The same weekend that Sage was born, Andrew was also in Robotics Competition.

This year was a challening one for the Robotics team. Andrew's main task involved stinting arteries as a part of a much larger scale medical-related robotics challenge.

They had many tasks involving drama, oral presentations, poster presetations and robot presentation.  It was definitely a learning experience this year and alot of fun for Andrew.

In December we also visited the Space and Rocket Center. This year we became members due to the fact that there were many exhibits. like the Narnia exhibit, that we wanted to go see.
There was no photography permitted in the Narnia exhibit, but I can tell you that --We loved it!  I thought it was great.  Many of the costumes and set pieces were there, as well as, some of C.S. Lewis' actual books.  I was in heaven!
Mimi and Bibi and friends, Tammie, Spencer and Skyler also went with us.  We had a great time.  That evening, Mimi, Bibi, the kids and I met Joey at the theater to take in some Voyager of the Dawn Treader in 3D.  I teared up, okay cried a little about 3 times.  Andrew had just finished the Voyage of the Dawn Treader in book form, days before the movie came out so we were ready.  WE LOVED IT!
The exhibit--the movie--What a great day!!!

Also in the month of December, Alora had her third piano recital. This one was the informal one.  She played beautifully! It is really amazing how quickly she has picked it up in her, only, four semesters of piano lessons.
She played three Christmas songs solo and then with Ms. Judy.  She did a great job and we are so proud of her.
Wow! December was a super happening month-- and there is more to come... : )
